Cookie Styles December 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!

I am so sorry, it seems this month I didn't have the time I thought I would to throw something together for the Pixel Scrapper December 2015 Blog Train- Lets Get Festive!! I SOOOO wanted
to make an elf type kit for it! But, alas, with Thanksgiving travelling, sick family members, and
so many other things going on , I only just managed to make some cookie styles that I was going
to use to make some elements for the kit that I was so envisioning, cute little elves, gingerbread
houses, candy, cookies, and all manner of sugery sweetness! Oh well, I will just have to make it
later down the line!! Sooooo, I do, at least, have the cookie styles to share with you:) Although,
not much, and certainly not the greatest, they are super fun to play with:) I so hope you enjoy
them and use them for any sugery cookie sweetness in your designs or scrapping!

Also, here is a revised version of an older Christmas kit I did a couple of years ago
that I thought I would share with you. It has nothing to do with this blog train, but
I figured since it was related to Christmas, it might be fun to share:)

Don't forget to run on over to the Pixel Scrapper December 2015 Blog Train to grab
the other contributions, and I pray that God will Bless you all this wonderful Holiday
season as we reflect on the greatest gift of all to mankind, our precious savior Jesus
Christ, son of God!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!

Thankful Harvest November 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!!

Its that time again for another wonderful Pixel Scrapper Blog Train!! Where did October go? So many things have gone on for us in October that the time just FLEW by:) Lots of fun decorating, fall pumpkins, cute owls and ghosties, and our Annual Fall Fellowship Halloween Party with food, costumes, trick or treating hay rides, a bon fire with smores and whatever else we can conjure up for that night (coming up this Saturday as I write this)!! I can't wait:)  So yeah, the month is pretty much over, and November is here in a couple of days! November....the month for reflecting on "Thankfulness"! What are we truly Thankful for? My mom gave us a scare a couple of weeks ago when she was in the hospital again with serious heart problems. She is so young, in her early 60's. She had "another" surgery and we are praying all goes well for her as this is really the last thing they can do for her (she is no longer a candidate for open heart surgery), so they put a stent in and are just hoping for the best. As I traveled to Mississippi to be there, I thought about how fragile life really is, how fragile she really is. I pray for her and just have to leave her in God's hands, and that gives me peace because I know He loves her and is always there with her. I am TRULY thankful for that! That Jesus loves us beyond time and space, beyond our life here on Earth, beyond our past (all of our mistakes and sins)! That if we simply believe on Him, believe on His name, we will be saved! So simple, yet so profound! So powerful and so sweet! There is nothing more that I could possibly be so truly thankful for!! As we go through the month of  November, let us really think about what we have
to be thankful for and then thank our almighty God! I am also thankful for the AWESOME Pixel Scrapper November 2015 Blog Train this month!! The theme is "Thankful Harvest" and the colors are just so pretty together! I have to admit, It was killing me not to have a brown in the color palette, and I wasn't sure how things would look without the traditional autumn brown. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty the colors worked together and that I really didn't need the brown after all. It had plenty of neutral and contrasting colors with the tan and black:) So, anyway, here is my part:

Don't forget to run back over to Pixel Scrapper November 2015 Blog Train for the other parts:) And, as always, don't forget to leave some love along the way:) Thank you all so much for always blessing all of those participating by leaving such sweet comments!! We are all of your biggest fans as we strive to make something we think you will like and can use for your precious memories and designing!!!! Thank you for always coming back! May God bless you and your sweet families this month and may we all bless our heavenly Father this month as we give Him all the thanks He deserves!!!!!!!! Love and hugs to all and I wish you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Ok.....this one is a biggie!!:) I am so super excited about this month's  Pixel Scrapper blog train!! The theme is "That Teenage Life" and I think since so many people were in search of and requesting more teenage boy type kits, some of us were more focused on a  "boys" type theme! And, since I have boys and they are growing up so fast, I totally took this opportunity to just go crazy with this and create anything and everything I thought one could use to scrap their little adventurers all the way up and through their teenage years!! Other's focused on girls, so their is a little bit of everything in this super awesome blog train ,haha! Anyway, as I was scrolling through the other blog train contributions, I was like " I gotta have that" , and "I am SO gonna have to have that too", so this month is gonna be the teenagenomenon of teenage themed kits with AWESOME colors and varieties of stuff that you WILL WANT TO CHECK OUT!! time in their life where their identities are being shaped! I pray that all will get to know Christ and His love for them and claim their identity in Him and live their life knowing they are loved and have courage to face the days ahead including, all the hard times, knowing they will be protected by Jesus, who is in them, and beside them and for them!!

Bohemian Breeze Sept. 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!

Ok, so I know I have seriously been neglecting my blog lately! As many of you (from Pixel Scrapper, anyway) may already know, I have retired from full time designing. I now design just as a hobby, (when I can find the time)! I have been spending a lot of my time now with my boys and hubby, helping with my son's school (he is dyslexic), my 4 year old with a new super fun pre-school home-school curriculum, my daughter with her college sorority stuff, and many fellowships and get togethers with church family, community, and friends!! It has been a super fun summer with new adventures and even some spiritual fruit, as a friend of ours came to know the Lord and experienced His hope, forgiveness, and LOVE!!  May we all continue to grow in the Lord, becoming disciples, willing to love others by giving them the good news of salvation and hope (especially in the dark times we living in now, where there seems to be no hope)! May we all learn to "delight" in the Lord, learn about Him (who created us all so unique), get to know Him through His word (the bible)! Fall in love with Him to the point where we just can't stop talking about Him and what he actually did for us to our friends, family, community, and well, anyone!! And if you don't know about or quite understand what He did for us, or what salvation means, or how to be saved, check this link "Have You Heard The Good News?" to get a better understanding!  So, while things have been really awesome and super busy these past few months, I haven't had ANY time to design! But now that school has started back again, things are settling down a bit, and I think I will have a little time here and there to design some. And JUST IN TIME too, because when I saw the theme "Bohemian Breeze" for the Sept. Blog Train, I got super excited and REALLY wanted to participate! So I started on it, thinking I would just make a few papers and elements! As time went by, working on it here and there, I realized that I was making more than "a few papers and elements"! So this is the end result! I know its a little bigger than "a mini kit", but I put them into 3 different downloads to be easier to download:) I hope you like it, and be sure to grab ALL the portions to this months "Bohemian Breeze Sept. 2015 Blog Train" over at Pixel Scrapper, your gonna LOVE it!!! Also, remember to leave some love for all the wonderful designers that participated, it means a lot to all of us:) Thanks, and God bless each of you and your precious families and may He fill each of your lives with His Truth, His love, and His peace!!!:) Love you all!!

Renewal May 2015 Blog Train Mini Kit Freebie!!

This month for the Pixel Scrapper Blog Train, the theme is "Renewal" and colors are soft and springy! Its just perfect for these beautiful spring days! The flowers are in full bloom here, some
a little later than others, the days seem to go on forever late into the evenings where the sun
finally starts to set and the frogs begin their musical chorus, rhythmically announcing that summer
is on its way! This is my favorite time of the year. Leaving the back door open, feeling the cool of the evening come it, hearing the lawn mower buzzing in the background (maybe that is a southern thing). These are the moments I want to remember forever! I want to take them with me forever in my
photos, and that's why I love this theme for the blog train this month. Its just perfect for these type of moments, with soft spring colors and the thought of "renewal". A new day, capturing the moments,
treasuring them, and remembering them forever! Here is my part:

Reflections April 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!

Oh what a beautiful day today was, with the sun out, the flowers beginning to bloom, and the temperature just right around 79 degrees. The perfect day to take my boys to the zoo where we
had the best family time and then got home and ended this perfect evening talking about our perfect savior, Jesus, and contemplating who we are in Him and how we "reflect" His image in our daily lives. Which brings me right into this months theme for the Pixel Scrapper Blog Train, "Reflections".
This is what got it all started. This train of thought (no pun intended) that has had me captivated and wrestling with the whole week long. This concept that I thought I understood, or at least to a level that I seemed to be perfectly satisfied with. When I saw this theme, I started thinking about the word "reflections" and
what it means. I started thinking, well, what exactly do I reflect in my life? What do I mirror? Then I thought, well what am I supposed to mirror? Well, I am a Christian. According to Romans 8:29, we are supposed to be "conformed to the image of  His son." Meaning, that in time, we are shaped through His word to be more and more like Him. Then the more we become like Him, it is His image that we will be reflecting, not ours. It is our duty to reflect, glorify, and honor Him in all we do. Do I
reflect Him in all I do, well, not really! But I love Him, and he is a patient God, thankfully,  ever teaching me. So, while this theme got me to really "reflecting" on these thoughts, the Holy Spirit has used this opportunity to help me understand that I need to start spending more time with my Father
in His word to become more like Him, to build my relationship with Him further, and to relinquish myself to God, so that I can walk in the spirit and start producing real fruit in my life:)

her blog!

May God bless each of your precious families this week and be to you what you need
according to His good will and a special blessing to all as we prepare for Passover this week!

Furry Friends- Kitty Newest Release At Pixel Scrapper!!!

This month's theme for the March 2015 Pixel Scrapper Blog Train was "Animal Kingdom"
with quite a large color palette. Almost ever color you could imagine, or at least all basic colors and some neutrals. The idea was that everyone pick an animal or animals that they would like to design a kit for. The response was huge, and with every animal you could imagine, from cats and dogs, to llamas, wolves, reptiles, birds, and so many more. Then we could pick from among the many colors presented for our kits. Sooooooo, when I thought about what animal I wanted to do, the answer was
already in the back of my head, haha. You see, this last October, a stray cat adopted us as her family. We fed her outside (she was starving to death) and then realized later that she was pregnant. After much debate, my hubby and I decided to let her deliver her kitties in our garage (turned into homeschool/play room) where it was nice, warm, and cozy. In November, she gave birth, with me, my daughters (who rushed home when I texted them) and my boys all standing on the sidelines supporting her! The last to be born was the biggest, and most active, rolling off the little cat bed and onto the floor. Mommy didn't seem to care as she was cleaning the others, so I scooped the little guy up (even though we really shouldn't touch them yet) and settled him in with the rest, where
mom continued with her cleaning and cuddling! I knew then I would love this little guy forever!! Soooo, as time went on, we found a place for all the kitties, we couldn't keep all of them, but I just couldn't let this little guy go, so we kept him and named him "James Tiberius Kirk" aka Mr. Tibbs!!
I'm a huge trekky, what can I say (ps. On a serious note, let us take a moment of silence as we mourn our beloved Leonard Nimoy "Spock" who died yesterday at the age of 83....so sad, you will forever be missed, we love you, Spock)!! Well, anyway, our little Mr. Tibbs is quite the handful, so energetic, crazy, and slicing and dicing us ever chance he gets (he NEVER stops playing, haha)! Soooo, now you
know what animal I picked!! I really wanted a fun kit to scrap his crazy cute self, and for all others that have fur baby kitties they want to scrap!! So I picked the colors I thought would look great together and be versatile enough for different color kitties, and got started drawing. Drawing cats was NOT easy for me, lol! I wanted to capture that crazy "Eddie from the Lion King" look my cat always
has. He is sooooo dorky cute and just plain CRAZY, and I really wanted to translate into my designs somewhere. So I made a few kitties with that personality, then drew some plain cute kitties for the sweet moments, and because they were just, well, cute, lol!!! OK, ok, I know, enough talking about the kit!! I can't help it, I love the backstory! Well, anyway, I wound up making a BUNDLE out of it
(I was having so much fun making it) and named it "Furry Friends- Kitty". AND  I made a smaller kit as well to share in blog train. ALSO, for the blog train, I made some 3x3 fun pocket cards to go with the mini kit!!! So be sure to grab those as well in the next post!!
So here it is,

Furry Friends- Kitty Bundle, available now at Pixel Scrapper!!

This bundle has everything you need to scrap
those super fun kitty moments!! It consists of 18 patterned papers, 85 elements, 10 solid
papers, 13 extra word art, and 20 coordinating journal/pocket cards. This kit is really quirky, crazy, and wild, yet also, sweet, adorable and filled with kitty love!! I am sure you'll love it! Be sure to grab it at Pixel Scrapper, and may God bless you all!!!!

Rustic Charm Feb. 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!

Whew...Its been a while since I have posted anything on my blog! I was just too busy with holiday sicknesses, haha, and family occasions to even participate in the last Pixel Scrapper blog train, sadly! This time, however, I was determined to set aside time to play with this month's theme "Rustic Charm". What do you think of when you think "Rustic Charm"? I think of burlap, canvas textures, wood, vintage metals, and anything from the woods or that is natural and even distressed or roughed up a little. Throw in some chalkboard, cardboard, and tulle, and to me, it becomes charming, lovely, and sweet!! I have some super sweet photos of my daughter and her beloved horse "Dude" and that was also thrown in my pile of inspiration!! I wanted to create a kit that had that rustic feel to it, yet could also portray love, or fondness, a sense of happiness and belonging! Soooo, this was the culmination of all those thoughts and feeling, haha!! I hope I, in some way, was able to capture those feelings in this kit, and I am super excited to try a layout with my daughter and her horse "Dude", after all, she inspired the direction of this kit:)

Don't forget to run over to Pixel Scrapper February 2015 Blog Train to pick up all the other contributions, the other designers have really just BLOWN THIS BLOG TRAIN AWAY with the amazing papers and elements!! I have never seen so many papers and elements that just make me drool!! I think you'll love it:) Oh, and don't forget to leave them some hugs and love for sharing their talents!!
